What inspired you to start practicing yoga?
When my husband and I were living in Philadelphia, there was a studio right around the corner from our house. I’d always see people spilling out after a class looking so energized and happy, so I decided to give it a shot. That was almost ten years ago and I’ve never looked back.
More about me...
What can students expect from your classes?
Consistency, mindful movement with a focus on breath. I expect you to leave my class feeling empowered as you explore movement that feels good for you in your body. Expect a sense of ease as you explore your natural curves while also meeting your edge and feeling challenged.

What’s your favorite (or least favorite) yoga pose and why?
Half moon w/Chapasana is my favorite. I am such a sucker for any standing pose where you can sneak in a backbend! This is such an energizing pose and I always feel so strong and stretched out after coming out of it.
What’s your yoga teaching superpower?
How much I love yoga! It shows through my teaching. I want people to experience the magic of the practice.
What’s one fun or quirky fact about you that most people don’t know?
I’ve always been able to do a backflip off diving boards but have never been able to do a front flip.
What lights you up outside the studio?
Being in my garden, pickling with my best friend, long walks with the family and big smooches from my daughter, June.
